On Tuesday, 10 June 2008, at 2:30 p.m., His Honour will present the insignia of Member of the Order of Canada to Dr. Jon Lien on behalf of Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, at an Investiture Ceremony in Government House. Following the Ceremony, he and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Thursday, 19 June 2008, at 10:30 a.m., Her Honour will host the annual Government House Planting followed by a lunch for the volunteer gardeners.

At 2:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Graduation Ceremony of the College of the North Atlantic, St. John’s Campus, at the Arts and Culture Centre. His Honour will present the Governor General’s Medal to the student with the highest academic standing for the Prince Philip Campus.

At 7:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend a reception aboard HMCS ATHABASKAN.
