On Monday, 10 November 2008, at 11:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor will receive at Government House Alan Waite and Terry Hull of the HMS Newfoundland Association.

At 7:30 p.m., His Honour, Honorary Patron of the Quidi Vidi Rennie's River Development Foundation, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the opening performance of the musical South Pacific at the Arts and Culture Centre.

On Tuesday, 11 November 2008, at 10:55 a.m., the Lieutenant Governor will attend the Remembrance Day War Memorial Service at the National War Memorial where he will lay a wreath. Following the Service, Mr. Crosbie will take the salute in front of the Court House on Water Street. At the conclusion of the parade, Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for invited guests.

On Thursday, 13 November 2008, at 6:30 p.m., His Honour, Honorary Patron of the Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the annual Humanitarian Award Dinner of the Red Cross, at the Delta Hotel. Mr. Crosbie will present the 2008 Humanitarian and Young Humanitarian Awards.

On Thursday, 20 November 2008, at 12:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Luncheon for invited guests at Government House in honour of David and Anita Blackwood.

At 4:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will present the James A. Good Scholarships in Philosophy at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for the two recipients and other invited guests.
