Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will receive at Government House Mr. Jim Casey, Executive Director of the Atlantic Region, and Ms. Carol Ann Smith, Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Director, of the Canadian Diabetes Association.

On Monday, 9 February 2009, at 7:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Patron of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Dinner for invited guests at Government House in honour of the Orchestra.

On Friday, 13 February 2009, at 1:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will receive at Government House Brigadier-General D.G. Neasmith, OMM, CD, Commander Land Force Atlantic Area.

At 8:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend the NSO Masterworks Series Concert #3 RAVEL’S BOLERO at the Arts and Culture Centre.

On Sunday, 15 February 2009, at 2:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend and His Honour will preside over a Citizenship Ceremony at the Tattoo Training Facility, Signal Hill Visitor Centre. Following the Ceremony, Mr. Crosbie will join with two of the new Canadian citizens to cut Canada’s 44th Anniversary National Flag of Canada Cake.

On Monday, 16 February 2009, at 2:00 p.m., Her Honour will ly open Women's Institutes Week at a Ceremony in Government House and will host a Reception for members and invited guests.
