On Sunday, 1 August 2010, at 11:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend an Ecumenical Service at Village Green, Gambo, as part of Smallwood Days 2010. His Honour will unveil a plaque in memory of War Veteran Matthew Brown.

At 12:30 p.m., Their Honours will be the guests of Mayor Peter Lush at Lunch at the Smallwood Interpretation Centre.

On Wednesday, 4 August 2010, at 10:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend the Royal St. John’s Regatta and will view the races from the VIP boat on Quidi Vidi Lake, as guests of the Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee.

At 12:30 p.m. The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will be guests of the Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee at a Luncheon at the Boat House, Quidi Vidi Lake.

On Tuesday, 17 August 2010, at 2:30 p.m., Their Honours will receive at Government House Her Excellency The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, CC, CMM, COM, CD, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada & His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond, CC.

At 6:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Honorary Patron of Cupids 400 Celebrations Inc. and Mrs. Crosbie will be guests of the Cupids 400 Organizing Committee at the VIP reception at Cupids Legacy Centre Hall. Following the Reception, Their Honours will attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Opening of the Cupids Legacy Centre and at 8:45 p.m., will view the “Seeds of Settlement” cultural performance.

On Wednesday, 18 August 2010, at 10:30 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Honorary Chief of Police, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend a Ceremony at 10:45 a.m. to unveil a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Legacy Sculpture.

At 2:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for the Cupids 400 Organizing Committee and other invited guests.

At 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will be guests of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Historical Society at a gala dinner at the Delta Hotel and Conference Centre to celebrate the unveiling of the RNC Legacy Sculpture.

On Friday, 20 August 2010, The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will travel to Northern Labrador where they will spend two days visiting Torngat Mountains National Park and other areas of Nunatsiavut.

Gushue Hall, Memorial University, on the occasion of the Memorial on Parade Reunion celebrating the 85th Anniversary of the founding of Memorial University College and the 61st Anniversary of Memorial University of Newfoundland.
