On Wednesday, 1 December 2010, at 2:30 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will make a Christmas visit to the residents and staff of Saint Lukes Homes.

At 7:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Dinner at Government House for the Board of Directors of Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador.

On Friday, 3 December 2010, at 2:30 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will make a Christmas visit to the residents and staff of Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion.

At 5:30 p.m., Her Honour, Patron of the Girl Guides in Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate with the Girl Guides in the decorating of a Christmas Tree in the front foyer of Government House in celebration of their 100th anniversary.

At 7:00 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor will attend the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regimental Dinner at the Officers/Combined NCO’s Mess at “B” Division, RCMP Headquarters.

Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Patron of SHALLAWAY – Newfoundland and Labrador Youth in Chorus, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend SHALLAWAY’S annual Christmas Concert at Cochrane Street United Church.

On Saturday, 11 December 2010, at 8:00 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor, Patron of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Orchestra=s performance of Handel=s Messiah, at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.

On Sunday, 12 December 2010, at 2:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Colonel of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment, will attend the First Battalion Christmas Dinner at the CFS St. John’s Fort Pepperell Mess, Pleasantville.

On Tuesday, 14 December 2010, at 2:30 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will make a Christmas visit to the residents and staff of Agnes Pratt Nursing Home.

At 7:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend a Christmas Open House for friends of the Faculty of Medicine of Memorial University, as guests of Dr. James Rourke, Dean of Medicine, and Dr. Leslie Rourke.

On Sunday, 19 December 2010, at 11:00a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the Advent Worship Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Cochrane Street United Church. His Honour will read a Scripture lesson.
