On Tuesday, 1 June 2010, at 5:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will be guests of the Shorefast Foundation at a Dinner at Joe Batt’s Arm Town Hall.

At 7:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend the Launch of the new Fogo Island Film House at the Shorefast Premises, Fogo Island.

On Wednesday, 2 June 2010, at 12 Noon, The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Rock-turning for the Fogo Island Inn, Fogo Island.

At 2:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend the Opening of the Long Studio on Fogo Island.

On Thursday, 3 June 2010, at 5:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Patron of the Lung Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Lung Association Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Ceremony at the Swilers Rugby Club, St. John’s. His Honour will participate in the presentation of awards.

On Friday, 4 June 2010, at 11:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor will officiate at the presentation of Royal Canadian Mounted Police Long Service Awards and Commanding Officer’s Commendations at a Ceremony at RCMP Headquarters, St. John’s.

On Monday, 7 June 2010, at 10:30 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will receive at Government House members of the Rotary Group Study Exchange visiting from Australia.

On Tuesday, 8 June 2010, at 2:00 p.m., Her Honour, Patron of the Newfoundland and Labrador Women’s Institutes, will receive members of the Women’s Institutes at a Tree Planting Ceremony on Government House grounds to commemorate their 75th Anniversary. Following the Tree Planting, Her Honour will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Thursday, 10 June 2010, at 2:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Vice-Prior of the Order of St. John in Newfoundland and Labrador, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Investiture of the Order of St. John at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, where His Honour will invest and promote members into the Order and present life-saving awards. Following the Investiture, Their Honours will host a reception for recipients and other invited guests at Government House.

At 7:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Annual Dinner of St. John Ambulance at the Capital Hotel.

On Monday, 14 June 2010, at 2:30 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend a 100th Birthday celebration at Saint Luke’s Homes in honour of Mrs. Irene Millicent Butler.

At 5:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for participants of the 2010 Conference of the National Association of Public Trustees and Guardians.

On Thursday, 17 June 2010, at 10:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor will attend the Graduation Ceremony of the College of the North Atlantic, St. John’s Campus, at the Arts and Culture Centre. His Honour will present the Governor General’s Medal to the student with the highest academic standing for the Prince Philip Campus.

At 10:30 a.m., Her Honour will host the annual Government House Planting followed by a lunch for the volunteer gardeners.

At 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the opening of the exhibition “Here to Stay: Cupids 1610” at The Rooms.
