On Sunday, 7 March 2010, at 11:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the Commonwealth Sunday Service at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. His Honour will read the Queen's Commonwealth Day Message.

On Monday, 8 March 2010, at 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Dinner for invited guests at Government House in honour of Dr. John Lau and Mrs. Heather Lau.

From Wednesday, 10 March, to Saturday, 13 March 2010, Their Honours will be in Vancouver, British Columbia, to participate in the annual Conference of Lieutenant Governors and Commissioners.

On Monday, 15 March 2010, at 12 Noon, The Honourable J. Derek Green, Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, will receive at Government House executive members of the Benevolent Irish Society who will tender greetings on the occasion of the Festival of St. Patrick.

On Monday, 22 March 2010, at 10:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will prorogue the Second Session of the Forty-Sixth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador at the House of Assembly.

At 1:35 p.m., His Honour will inspect a Guard of Honour from the Canadian Forces and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary at the Confederation Building.

At 2:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will deliver the Speech from the Throne to open the Third Session of the Forty-Sixth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador at the House of Assembly.

Following the Throne Speech, Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for Members of the Vice-Regal Entourage and other invited guests.

At 4:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for the Fatima Academy Concert Choir and other invited guests.

On Tuesday, 23 March 2010, at 2:00 p.m., His Honour, Honorary Chief of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, will present Police Exemplary Service Medals to members of the Constabulary stationed on the Northeast Avalon at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for the recipients and other invited guests.

On Thursday, 25 March 2010, at 12:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Honorary Patron of the Winterset Award, and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Luncheon at Government House for the 2009 Winterset Award finalists and other invited guests.

At 4:00 p.m., His Honour will present the 2009 Winterset Award at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Friday, 26 March 2010, at 12:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Luncheon at Government House for the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Mounted Unit and other invited guests.

At 3:00 p.m., Their Honours will receive at Government House members of the 2959 Pasadena Army Cadet Corps.

At 8:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the NSO Masterworks Series Concert #4 PUCCINI’S LA BOHEME (Opera in Concert) at the Arts and Culture Centre.

On Saturday, 27 March 2010, at 6:30 p.m., His Honour will attend “Spring Soiree 2010” hosted by the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and The Fluvarium at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland.

At 7:30 p.m., Her Honour will participate in the CUPIDS400 Baby Guy Charity Event celebrating the birth of the first English child in Canada at the Cupids Community Centre.

On Monday, 29 March 2010, at 10:30 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Patron of The Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will participate in a Ceremony at Government House to celebrate March as Red Cross Month and will host a Reception for invited guests.
