Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Patron of the Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Dinner at Government House for the Executive of the Regatta Committee and other invited guest.

On Wednesday, 3 November 2010, at 7:00 p.m., Their Honours will participate in the Opening of the “French Shore Tapestry” at the Johnson GEO CENTRE.

Friday, 5 November 2010

On Friday, 5 November 2010, at 12:30 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Luncheon at Government House for participants of the Action Canada St. John's Conference.

At 4:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception for invited guests at Government House on the occasion of the Action Canada St. John’s Conference.

Saturday, 6 November 2010

On Saturday, 6 November 2010, at 2:00 p.m., Her Honour, Patron of the Girl Guides of Canada in Newfoundland and Labrador, will present Canada Cords to Girl Guides at a Ceremony at the Marine Institute.

At 7:30 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will join Action Canada Directors, Advisors and Fellows at a Dinner at The Rooms.

On Monday, 8 November 2010, at 4:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will present Paul Harris Fellow Awards, on behalf of the Rotary Club of St. John’s East, at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, he and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception for recipients and invited guests.

On Tuesday, 9 November 2010, at 7:30 p.m., His Honour, Honorary Patron of the Quidi Vidi Rennie=s River Development Foundation, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the opening performance of The Sound of Music at the Arts and Culture Centre.

On Thursday, 11 November 2010, at 10:55 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend the Remembrance Day War Memorial Service at the National War Memorial where he will lay a wreath. Following the Service, His Honour will take the salute in front of the Court House on Water Street. At the conclusion of the parade, he and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for invited guests.

On Friday, 12 November 2010, at 4:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will present the James A. Good Scholarship in Philosophy to Ms. Sarah Khraishi at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Tuesday, 23 November 2010, at 7:30 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Patron of Battle Harbour Historic Trust Inc., and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will be guests of the Chair and Board of Directors of the Battle Harbour Historic Trust at a Dinner celebrating The Culture of the Cod at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s.

On Wednesday, 24 November 2010, at 12 Noon, His Honour will attend The Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC), Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Group, Speaker Luncheon at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland.

At 6:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Honorary Patron of the Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the annual Humanitarian Award Dinner of the Red Cross, at the Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre. His Honour will present the 2010 Humanitarian and Young Humanitarian Awards.
