Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend a Meet & Greet Reception on the occasion of the National Board Meeting of the National Association of Federal Retirees at the Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre.

On Thursday, 9 September 2010, at 12 noon, Their Honours will host a Luncheon at Government House for Foreign Service Attachés who are participating in a tour of Eastern Canada.

At 6:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for invited guests to recognize the efforts of Master Corporal Jody Mitic and Corporal Andrew Knisley in support of the Canadian Forces “Soldier On Fund”.

On Sunday, 12 September 2010, at 11:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the Canadian Merchant Navy Veterans Association Memorial Service at the Sailor’s Memorial, outside the Marine Institute on Ridge Road. His Honour will take the salute from the Parade participants during the March Past and will lay a wreath.

On Monday, 13 September 2010, at 5:30 p.m., The Honourable J. Derek Green, Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host a Reception at Government House for participants of the Annual Meeting of Commissioners and Registrars of Lobbyists.

On Thursday, 16 September 2010, at 5:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a reception at Government House for the Board of Directors of Canada Lands Company and other invited guests.

On Friday, 17 September 2010, at 10:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will embark on the Canadian Naval Frigate HMCS ST. JOHN’S for a Vice-Regal tour of Trinity and Conception Bays.

At 5:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a reception for invited guests onboard HMCS ST. JOHN’S anchored in Trinity Harbour.

On Saturday, 18 September 2010, The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will sail to Cupids onboard HMCS ST. JOHN’S.

At 2:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend a Ceremony at the Cupids Discovery Centre at which the Town of Cupids will present HMCS ST JOHN’S with Freedom of the City.

At 5:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend a Reception at the Cupids Discovery Centre.

Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the eighth annual ceremony of the Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers' Memorial Association at the Police and Peace Officers' Memorial, Confederation Building. His Honour will be the Reviewing Officer and will lay a wreath.

At 7:00 p.m., Their Honours will be the guests of The Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, Chairperson of the Canadian Judicial Council, at a Dinner at The Rooms.
