On Sunday, 1 May 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Their Honours will attend the Battle of Atlantic Ecumenical Church Service at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Following the Service, His Honour will take the salute from the Parade on Water Street and participate in the wreath-laying ceremony at the waterfront.

On Monday, 2 May 2011 at 12:30 p.m. His Honour The Honourable John Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a luncheon at Government House for Mr. Chris Montague, President of NunatuKavut Community Council and other invited guests.

On Saturday, 7 May 2011 at 6:30 p.m. Their Honours will attend the St. John’s (NL) Curling Association’s 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner at The ReMax Centre.

On Monday, 09 May 2011 at 3:30 p.m., the Girl Guides of Canada 28th St. John’s TREX Unit (Pathfinders) will participate in a tour of Government House. Following the tour, Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie, Honourary President and Patron of the Girl Guides of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Division, will host an afternoon tea with the group.

On Thursday, 12 May 2011 at 10:30 a.m., Their Honours, Patrons of the Canadian Parents for French in Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the presentation of the CPF-NL Awards at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Friday, 13 May 2011 at 11:00 a.m., Rotary International Youth Exchange Students will participate in a tour of Government House followed by a Luncheon hosted by Their Honours.

At 4:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for the Organizing Committee of the 2011 Multiple Convention of the International Association of Lions Clubs.

On Saturday, 14 May 2011 at 12:30 p.m., His Honour, Honourary Colonel of the Regiment, will attend the Change of Command Parade for the Second Battalion, The Royal Newfoundland Regiment from Lieutenant Colonel J. D. MacDonald to Lieutenant Colonel C. J. Russell at the Gallipoli Armoury in Corner Brook.

At 4:30 p.m. His Honour, as Honorary Chair of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Newfoundland and Labrador, will present the Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Awards of Achievement at a Ceremony in Corner Brook.

At 5:00 p.m., Their Honours will be guests of Dr. Gary Kachanoski, President and Vice-Chancellor, at the Convocation Reception at R. Gushue Hall, Memorial University.

At 6:30 p.m., Her Honour will attend the Vibrant Communities Poverty Reduction Fundraiser at the D. F. Cook Recital Hall, Memorial University.
