On Friday, 1 July 2011 at 11:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend the Memorial Day Service at the National War Memorial in St. John’s. His Honour will lay the first wreath. Her Honour will lay a wreath on behalf of the Women’s Patriotic Association (1914-1918). After the Ceremony, The Lieutenant Governor will take the salute, at the Court House on Water Street, from the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and other units of the Canadian Armed Forces and from members of the Royal Canadian Legion and other organizations on Parade.

Immediately following the Ceremony at the War Memorial, Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for invited guests.

On Monday, 04 July 2011 at 9:00 a.m., His Honour The Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador will receive at Government House His Excellency, Bruno van de Pluijm Ambassador of Belgium to Canada.

On Wednesday, 06 July 2011 at 8:00 p.m., His Honour and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the Opening Gala Concert of Festival 500 at the Arts and Culture Centre.

On Sunday, 10 July 2011 at 8:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend the Festival 500 Concert featuring the Indonesian Children’s Choir and Rajaton from Finland at the Arts and Culture Centre.

On Tuesday, 12 July 2011 at 5:00 p.m., His Honour The Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for participants of Festival 500 – Sharing the Voices and other invited guests.

On Tuesday, 19 July 2011 at 1:00 p.m., His Honour The Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for participants of the American Geophysical Union Chapman Conference on the “Dynamics of the Earth’s Radiation Belts and Inner Magnetosphere” and other invited guests.

On Thursday, 21 July 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Their Honours will attend the Opening Night of the production “Makin’ Time with the Yanks” at the LSPU Hall.

On Saturday, 23 July 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Their Honours will attend the RCMP Musical Ride being held at the Goulds Race Track.

Sunday, 24 July 2011

On Sunday, 24 July 2011 Their Honours will travel to Dover to attend the Dover Come Home Year Events. His Honour will lay a wreath at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Cemetery.

At 2:00 p.m. Their Honours will attend a Garden/Tea Party at the William Mercer Academy.

On Monday, 25 July 2011 at 4:30 p.m., Their Honours The Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for participants of SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) Memorial’s Based in Business Program and other invited guests.

On Tuesday, 26 July 2011 at 11:00 a.m., Their Honours will travel to Carbonear to ly Open “Carbonear Island: Traces of the Past” Exhibit.

Wednesday, 27 July 2011

On Wednesday, 27 July 2011 at 3:00 p.m., Their Honours will host the Annual Garden Party on the grounds of Government House. Every resident of Newfoundland and Labrador and any visitors to the Province are welcome to attend. In the event of inclement weather, the Garden Party will be held on Thursday, 28 July 2011.
