Wednesday, 01 July 2015

On Wednesday, 01 July 2015 at 10:55 a.m., Their Honours will attend the Memorial Day Service at the National War Memorial in St. John’s. His Honour will lay the first wreath. Her Honour will lay a wreath on behalf of the Women’s Patriotic Association (1914-1918). After the Ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor will take the salute, at the Court House on Water Street, from the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and other units of the Canadian Armed Forces and from members of the Royal Canadian Legion and other organizations on Parade.

Immediately following the Ceremony at the War Memorial, Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for invited guests.

At 2:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend the Service of Remembrance at the Caribou Memorial Veterans’ Pavilion.

Monday, 06 July 2015 to Wednesday 08 July 2015

From Monday, 06 July 2015 to Wednesday 08 July 2015, His Honour the Honourable Frank Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will attend the Annual Conference of the Governor General, Lieutenant Governors and Territorial Commissioners in Whitehorse, Yukon.

On Wednesday, 15 July 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable Frank Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will host a Lieutenant Governor’s Garden Party, in the City of Corner Brook. Prior to the Garden Party, Their Honours will visit with area veterans and seniors.

On Wednesday, 22 July 2015 at 11:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable Frank Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will participate in the Opening Ceremony for the CN Pensioners and the Railway Coastal Museum World War I Commemorative Exhibit entitled “The Deep Sea Schooners and Newfoundland’s Merchant Sailors”, at the Railway Coastal Museum.

At 4:00 p.m., Their Honours will host The Prince’s Charities Operation Entrepreneur Reception, for invited guests, at Government House.

On Thursday, 23 July 2015 at 2:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend and His Honour will be participating in the Gander Heritage Memorial Park Rededication Ceremony and Unveiling of Sgt. Gander and Soldier Statues, in Gander.

Wednesday, 29 July 2015

On Wednesday, 29 July 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., His Honour the Honourable Frank Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan invite the public to join them for the Annual Garden Party on Government House Grounds.

Featuring:

  • The Church Lads’ Brigade Band
  • The Signal Hill Tattoo
  • The Celtic Fiddlers
  • The St. Pat’s Dancers
  • The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Mounted Unit
  • Light refreshments served by the Girl Guides.

In the event of inclement weather on Wednesday, 29 July, the Garden Party will be held on Thursday, 30 July 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
