Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will receive, at Government House, Members of the Cabot Quilters’ Guild, where they will present to Their Honours the commemorative book, “Peace by Piece”.

On Thursday, 08 September 2016 at 6:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend the Newfoundland and Labrador 50 + Federation 41st Annual Convention and His Honour will bring Greetings, at the Marystown Convention Centre.

On Sunday, 11 September 2016 at 11:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend and unveil a bust for the Sunnyside Heritage Association, honouring Leander Green, the first Newfoundlander to receive the Distinguished Service Medal during the First World War, in Sunnyside, NL.

On Wednesday, 14 September 2016 at 2:00 p.m., His Honour, the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will attend the Merchant Navy Remembrance Service, at the Caribou Memorial Veterans’ Pavilion.

At 4:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Pink-Tree Planting Ceremony as part of Pink Days in Bloom and The Pink Tree Project, in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Atlantic, followed by a Reception for invited guests, at Government House.

On Thursday, 22 September 2016 at 4:30 p.m., His Honour, the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will attend the Northwest Ireland Group Wreath Laying Ceremony, at the National War Memorial, to commemorate the loss of the navy vessel “Laurentic” during World War I.

On Friday, 23 September 2016 at 1:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend a Luncheon on board the Spanish Vessel “PATINO”.

Saturday, 24 September 2016

On Saturday, 24 September 2016 at 2:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception, at Government House, in honour of the Command Teams of the International Naval Ships, following their participation in “Cutlass Fury 16”.

At 6:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend a Reception onboard the USS GONZALEZ (DDG 66).

On Sunday, 25 September 2016 at 11:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend the 14th Annual Memorial Ceremony and Parade of the Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Association at the Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial, Confederation Building. His Honour will be the Reviewing Officer and will lay a Wreath.

On Monday, 26 September 2016 at 3:00 p.m., His Honour, the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will host a Ceremony, at Government House, where His Honour will present the Governor General’s Academic Medals to recipients of the College of the North Atlantic. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for the recipients and invited guests.

On Wednesday, 28 September 2016 at 2:00 p.m., Their Honours will officiate at the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the re-opening of the Garden of Hope, at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.

At 3:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Ceremony and Reception, for invited guests, at Government House, where His Honour will officially launch October as Autism Awareness Month and honour the Autism Society’s volunteers.

On Friday, 30 September 2016 at 6:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend a Reception and Special Presentation of the 1916 film, “Battle of the Somme”, at the Arts and Culture Centre.
