On Tuesday, 06 March 2018 at 10:00 a.m., His Honour The Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Patron of the Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador Region and Her Honour Patricia Fagan, will participate in a Ceremony at Government House, to celebrate March as Red Cross Month. Following the Ceremony, a Reception will be held for invited guests.

On Wednesday, 07 March 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Their Honours will be presented with the first set of Easter Seals, at a Ceremony to launch the 2018 Easter Seals Campaign, at Government House. Following the Ceremony, a Reception will be held for invited guests.

At 3:00 p.m., His Honour, as Honorary Patron of the Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour, will participate in the 2018 Manning Awards Ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland.

At 4:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception, at Government House, for the recipients of the Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador 2018 Manning Awards and invited guests.

On Thursday, 08 March 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Their Honours will host a Ceremony, at Government House, where His Honour will present Commissions to newly-appointed Queen’s Counsel. Following the Ceremony, a Reception will be held for invited guests.

Friday, 09 March 2018

On Friday, 09 March 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend the Swearing-In Ceremony of the newly-appointed Queen’s Counsel at the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador.

At 12:30 p.m., Their Honours will host the YWCA Women of Distinction Award recipients at a Luncheon, at Government House.

At 4:00 p.m., Their Honours will host an Awards’ Ceremony, at Government House, where His Honour will present the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers. Following the Ceremony, Their Honours will host a Reception for the award recipients and invited guests.

Monday, 12 March 2018

On Monday, 12 March 2018 at 4:15 p.m., His Honour the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will prorogue the Second Session of the Forty-Eighth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly, at the Confederation Building.

On Tuesday, 13 March 2018 at 1:35 p.m., His Honour the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Honour Patricia Fagan will arrive at the Confederation Building where His Honour will inspect a Guard of Honour from the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.

At 2:00 p.m., the Lieutenant Governor will deliver the Speech from the Throne to open the Third Session of the Forty-Eighth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

On Thursday, 15 March 2018 at 2:00 p.m., His Honour, as Patron of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (NL Division) and Her Honour, will host a celebratory Reception, for invited guests, at Government House, in honour of the 100th Anniversary of the CNIB.

At 6:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Dinner, at Government House, in honour of the Viceregal Commendation recipients.

On Saturday, 17 March 2018 at 12:00 p.m., Their Honours will receive, at Government House, executive members of the Benevolent Irish Society, who will tender greetings on the occasion of the Festival of St. Patrick.

Sunday, 18 March 2018

On Sunday, 18 March 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Their Honours will preside over a Ceremony, at the D.F. Cook Recital Hall, Memorial University of Newfoundland, where His Honour, as Honorary Chair of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Newfoundland and Labrador, will present the Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Awards of Achievement.

On Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at 2:00 p.m., His Honour, The Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Chief of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, will present Police Exemplary Service Medals to members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, His Honour and Her Honour Patricia Fagan, will host a Reception for recipients and invited guests.
