On April 11, 2012 Their Honours hosted a Reception in honour of the Receiving Titanic Commemoration Committee. This group led a series of events to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic.

Larry Daley, a local Titanic expert and member of the Receiving Titanic Commemoration Committee, is greeted by Their Honours at the start of the Reception.
David Myrick, former resident of Cape Race and nephew of Jimmy Myrick who was an on-duty apprentice at Cape Race on the night the Titanic was lost, was a guest at the Reception. David was also part of the Receiving Titanic Commemoration Committee.
